Join the Network
You can play an active role in the Youth Network by becoming a member of CCUNESCO's Youth Advisory Group (YAG). Member contributions have a real impact on CCUNESCO programs, events and initiatives. YAG members are currently working in their communities across Canada to build intercultural and intergenerational dialogue, spur social innovation for the North, and address peace and reconciliation issues.
2023-2025 Cohort Call for applications
The CCUNESCO is recruiting new members aged 18 to 30 years old for a two-year term (2023-2025) on its Youth Advisory Group (YAG). This group was created to ensure the meaningful engagement of youth in all of its programs and activities. Members have the opportunity to contribute their knowledge, expertise, and experiences to advancing CCUNESCO sectoral and cross-sectoral priorities, including: gender equality, reconciliation, youth engagement, freedom of expression, safeguarding documentary heritage, ethics of artificial intelligence, the Decade for People of African Descent, the Decade for Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, the Decade of Indigenous Languages, among others.
The YAG aims to be a collaborative and supportive environment that enables members to thrive both individually and collectively. YAG members have the potential to make active and substantive contributions to the work of CCUNESCO and its networks.
